All the tracks were composed by the present Director and Conductor of the Sistine Chapel Choir, Mons. Domenico Bartolucci who has ably inseerted them into the glorious traditions of the Roman polyphonists. The hymns are sung by the Sistine Chapel choir during the Liturgical Assemblies of the Second Ecumenical Vatican Council.

These recordings were made for the motion pictures "Christ is Born" and "Christ is Risen", which were filmed in St. Peter's Cathedral and in the Sistine Chapel, through the authority of Msgr. Guido Anchini, Prefetto della Capella Sistina, of the Capella Musicali. The film is in color and depicts the story of Christ through the paintings of the great masters. The choir is under the direction of Msgr. Domenico Bartolucci. Reissued in CD by Tradition TCD 1059.

Featuring Choir of St John Lateran   Pueri Cantores della Cappella Musicale Pontificia “Sistina”  
Recorded in the Sistine Chapel. The Choir of St John Lateran sing on side 1, the Sistine Chapel Choir sing on side 2. Released in connection with the (documentary?) film 'Heaven On Earth' for which the two choirs provided the soundtrack. Not dated but from the text appears to have been released in 1960.
